Your clinic closed at eight. Lisa is on the sofa, scrolling her feed, wondering about the dark spots on her cheeks.
Your clinic’s carousel post, “Not all dark spots are the same”, walks her through sun spots, melasma and marks after acne, and says a doctor can tell them apart. Lisa opens the clinic’s profile and taps WhatsApp.
Lisa: “I saw your post on pigmentation. I think mine might be melasma? What happens at a consult?”
Ivy, the clinic’s AI coordinator: “Only the doctor can tell which type it is, by looking at your skin. At the consult she does that and talks you through the options.”
Lisa asks whether it hurts and what it costs. Ivy says the doctor will answer both after seeing her skin, and offers a consult time. Lisa reads the reply and puts her phone down.
On Thursday at 8:15 am, Ivy checks in once. Lisa asks for Saturday at 11:00 am, and the consult is booked. If she had said no, Ivy would have stopped there.
The front desk sees which post Lisa came from, her questions in her own words, what Ivy told her, and that she booked after one reminder.
Ivy sends a reminder on Friday evening and Lisa confirms. On Saturday, the doctor already knows what she asked. Medical assessment and treatment decisions stay with the doctor.
